Sweet Potato Pudding

 A favorite Sunday dessert throughout Jamaica, consisting of sweet potatoes, flour, coconut milk, and flavorings such as vanilla, nutmeg, sugar, and salt. Although it can be baked in an oven, some Jamaicans still prepare it on a coal pot, where the charcoal is placed under the bottom and on top of the baking pan. 

Rum Cake

Jamaican rum cake is a traditional cake originating from Jamaica, where it’s a staple at holidays and weddings. 

Made with a combination of flour, dark rum, mixed fruits, raisins, brown sugar, molasses, baking powder, butter, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice.  A delicious treat anytime.

Grater Cake & Gizzada

Grater cake is a traditional Jamaican dessert made from grated coconut and sugar, cooked until sticky, often colored pink or red. 

Gizzada is a tart with a crisp pastry shell, filled with sweet, spiced coconut.


Coconut Drops

Coconut drops are traditional Jamaican treats made by boiling tiny pieces of coconut in a combination of brown sugar and spices such as vanilla, salt, and powdered ginger. The lumps produced by the mixture are left to cool on a flat surface to form rough cakes with an unusual shape and visual appearance.
